Tools to get you started

I actually don't think you need very much to get you on your way with gardening. This is a market area where a number of products have been created to reduce the work load but unfortunately in my opinion many of them are rather pointless. There are a couple of labour saving devices that we would advocate if you like that sort of thing, but they are really not necessary and can be very expensive. There are massive savings to be made online (and so much more choice), I've included a few links here, but actually you can just as easily buy the stuff from your local garden centre if you like to buy your stuff locally, which we obviously fully endorse!
More expensive toys!

- Lawn Mower
- Rotovator - you may not have heard of one of these so I'll explain it a little. Basically once you have weeded your veggie patch running one of these over it will dig over it by turning over the soil and breaking it up into the most beautiful soil. When you add mature or compost over the top it will also dig that in within minutes and again make it amazing. It runs off two-stroke so doesn't need plugging in or anything. Well worth it if you can afford one.
