Black Cherry Job

 

Again, this is a Dolly special! There are 3 puddings I particularly hope for when I go around there – this is one of them, the others being chocolate bombe and banoffee pie.

 

Ingredients

1 small packet of digestive biscuits

2 oz butter

1 tin of black cherries in natural juice

Whipped cream

 

Method 

Blend the digestives into a coarse rubble and melt the butter. Add the melted butter to the biscuit mix and then pat down across the bottom of a glass dish in an even layer – it should be about 1-2cm thick. Drain the cherries and whip the cream. Spread the cherries over the base and then decorate with the cream or if you prefer you can spread an even layer of cream over the top.
