Cheesy nibbles

Possibly one of the more moreish treats on here! Great served as pre-dinner nibbles but you may have to limit the number you put out or your guests may be too full to eat their main course!

 

Ingredients

4oz cheese

4oz plain flour

a pinch of salt and pepper

1 egg

4oz butter.

 

Method

Grate the cheese and put in a blender with the sifted flour, salt and pepper and the butter. Blend to a ball and then roll out on a board to about a quarter inch thickness. Use a small biscuit cutter and place on a greased baking tray. Keep re-rolling out until everything has been used. Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the biscuits with a pastry brush. Bake at 160 for about 10 or so minutes.
